Dr. Denise L. Wade is a mighty vessel of God who constantly encourages me to stay the course and never lose sight of God’s promises, especially when things become chaotic and stressful. She is bold enough to rejoice in those moments as a means of celebrating a breakthrough that is on the way. And I must say, there is always a breakthrough. I grew up in two churches and began attending her church as a young adult. She is the only person that I have called Pastor. I came to this realization recently, as no one else has ever earned that title. To me, a Pastor is not just a minister in charge of a Christian church or congregation, but rather someone who leads by example and is of service to others; Someone who pushes you to walk boldly in your purpose while remaining aligned with God.
